Tussar silk is a wild, naturally textured silk produced by the Antheraea mylitta moth, known for its rich golden-brown color, coarse but organically beautiful texture, and distinctive, matte, vintage appeal.

100% Fibroin (Protein) – wild silk from Antheraea mylitta; filament is shorter, thicker, and irregular, containing natural sericin
Texture:
Rough, crisp, textured, matte with a subtle, natural shimmer; characterized by irregular slubs, a dry hand, and an organic, slightly coarse feel
Stretch Level:
None (Inherently no stretch; often blended with cotton or wool for flexibility)
