Fabric Definition:
Fire retardant (FR) fabric is specially engineered to resist ignition, self-extinguish, or slow flame spread, offering critical protection for industrial workwear, military, and emergency response applications.
Composition:
FR Cotton, FR Polyester, FR Nylon, FR Viscose, Aramid (Nomex, Kevlar), FR Rayon, Modacrylic, FR Wool, blends with FR fibers
Texture:
Soft to stiff, varying textures; can be cotton-like, synthetic, or aramid; matte finish; some are comfortable, others more rugged

Low to Moderate (woven has limited stretch; knits provide some, but FR knits are less common)
