Bemberg is a premium, silky, and highly breathable regenerated cellulose fiber produced from cotton linter, prized for its exceptional softness, beautiful drape, and eco-friendly closed-loop production process.
Composition:
100% Regenerated Cellulose – derived from cotton linter (short fibers) dissolved in cuprammonium solution; high degree of purity
Texture:
Silky, smooth, soft, cool to the touch, with a fluid, liquid-like drape and a subtle, natural sheen; similar to silk but with a slightly drier, crisper hand
Stretch Level:
None (Inherently no stretch; knitted structures or elastane blends add stretch)
Fabric Construction:
Woven (e.g., Bemberg Lining, Crepe, Satin, Georgette, Twill) or Knitted (in blends for lingerie)
GSM Range:
60-200 GSM (Light for linings, medium for blouses, heavy for dresses and outerwear)
Breathability:
