Reflective fabric incorporates retroreflective materials (glass beads or microprisms) that reflect light back to its source, enhancing visibility and safety for night and low-light environments.
Composition:
Polyester, Nylon, Cotton, with glass bead or microprism coatings, often applied as tapes or printed designs, sometimes woven with reflective yarns
Texture:
Smooth, slightly stiff, reflective surface with glass beads or microprisms, can be matte when not illuminated, shiny when lit, flexible
Stretch Level:
Low to Moderate (base fabric may have stretch; reflective coating limits stretch)
Fabric Construction:
Woven, Knitted, or Nonwoven, with reflective coating, film, or printed reflective patterns
